DeJohn K. Hampton, was born Nov 4, 1978, in Cruger, Ms., He graduated in 1997 from S.V.Marshall High School in Tchula, Ms.

Mr. Hampton humble upbringing started at an early age while serving at Jerusalem Church of
God in Christ in Greenwood, MS where he built a relationship with many members the seniors
of the church while trying to help everywhere he could. It was only years later where he was
ordained as a Deacon and member of Meeks First Baptist Church which was essential to the
building of the foundation of his life.

After graduating from high school, DeJohn entered into the Mississippi Law Enforcement
Officers Training Academy where he graduated and became a certified law enforcement officer.

DeJohn is currently employed by the Miss Dept. of Public Safety Commercial Transportation
Division as a Troop Commander (Captain) where he has worked for the past 19 years. In 2017 he was appointed as Chief of Police for the Terry Police Dept. and was appointed a second time as Chief for the Crystal Springs Police Dept. Mr. Hampton has also served his community as the Former Vice Chairman of Hinds County Human Resource Agency Board of Directors who is responsible for project head start and senior citizens programs. Mr. Hampton began his masonic journey when he became a member of Thornton Lodge No. 132 an affiliate of the Most Worshipful Stringer Grand Lodge at the age of 18 years old., where he was elected Worshipful Master. During his masonic journey and progression, he made the following accomplishments. He had a love and passion for masonry and was bless by many accomplishments and he owe it all to his lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is also a graduate of Belhaven University where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.

DeJohn is married to Mrs. Felisha Hampton and is the father of two children, Tyisha Horton & Emarion Hampton.

Grand Thrice Hampton has served over many houses within the masonic order but he values his love for God and has a passion of devotion and love to serve others. To this date he still lives by the scripture: For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord,’ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
